Terms of Service for Venues
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-10-26
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the use of Status Rewards (the “Service”), provided by AllScreen Digital (the “Provider”, “we”, “us”), by any business that registers a venue (the “Venue”, “you”). By ticking the acceptance box, creating an account, activating a licence key or paying for the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and that you are authorised to bind the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Status Rewards is a web application that lets a Venue run a promotion in which guests post a picture of the day to their WhatsApp Status and, after the number of days set by the Venue, receive a reward QR code which the Venue may redeem at its till.
The Service includes the owner desk, the guest page, the cashier screen, printable QR materials and related features as made available from time to time. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
The Service is a software tool only. We do not organise, sponsor, fund, guarantee or deliver any promotion, reward, product or service offered by the Venue.
2. No verification of Status posts
WhatsApp does not provide any public interface that allows third parties to check whether a Status was published, who saw it, or for how long it stayed online. The Service therefore cannot and does not verify that a guest actually posted anything.
Each day is counted solely on the guest's own confirmation (“Done — I posted it”) and/or scanning of a QR code. The Provider gives no warranty that guests published content, that the content was seen by anyone, or that the promotion will produce any visibility, traffic, customers or revenue.
You accept that guests may confirm without posting, delete their Status early, use several phone numbers, share QR codes or otherwise abuse the promotion. You alone decide whether to give a reward and you bear all risk of fraud, abuse and loss.
3. Rewards, rules and redemption
You alone decide the reward, the number of days, the cooldown period, the validity of the reward and any other rules, and you alone are responsible for honouring, refusing or limiting rewards and for the conduct of your staff at the till.
The Provider is not a party to any relationship between you and your guests and has no obligation towards guests in relation to any reward. Any complaint, claim or dispute from a guest concerning a promotion or a reward must be handled and resolved by you at your own cost.
You must display clear and truthful promotion rules, including any limits, and must not describe the promotion in a misleading way.
4. Your legal obligations
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your promotion and your use of the Service comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including consumer protection, sales promotion, prize and lottery rules, advertising and influencer-marketing rules (including any obligation to disclose that a post is incentivised), alcohol, tobacco and age-restricted products rules, anti-spam rules and data protection law.
You are solely responsible for all taxes, duties and accounting obligations arising from rewards you give and from your business. The Provider gives no legal, tax or marketing advice.
You must not offer rewards that are unlawful, unsafe, age-restricted without proper checks, or that require guests to break the rules of WhatsApp or any other platform.
5. WhatsApp, Meta and other third parties
The Service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by WhatsApp, Meta Platforms or any other platform. “WhatsApp” and related marks belong to their respective owners.
The Service relies on third-party apps, browsers, operating systems, hosting, network and payment providers. We are not responsible for their availability, changes to their features, policies or terms, restrictions, suspensions or bans of any account, or any loss caused by them. If a third party changes its service so that the Service no longer works as intended, this does not entitle you to a refund or compensation.
6. Guest data and data protection
For guest personal data collected through your promotion (such as phone numbers, participation dates and reward codes) you are the data controller and the Provider acts as your data processor, processing the data only on your documented instructions given through the Service and these Terms, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the processing, for informing guests (including through your own privacy notice), for answering their requests and for not collecting more data than necessary. The Service is designed for data minimisation: only a phone number and participation data are needed.
The Provider will: keep the data confidential; apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures; ensure that its personnel are bound by confidentiality; use sub-processors (such as hosting and infrastructure providers) under written obligations comparable to these; assist you, at reasonable cost, with data subject requests and security obligations; notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach; and delete or return the data at the end of the Service.
Guests may ask for their data to be deleted; you must action such requests promptly and the Service provides tools to do so. Data may be deleted automatically after the retention period configured in the Service. You authorise the Provider to process data in any country where its infrastructure providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards required by law.
7. Your content
You are solely responsible for all content you upload or publish through the Service, including photos, videos, logos, texts, links and reward descriptions (“Your Content”).
You warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, licences and consents for Your Content (including rights of any people, brands, music or artworks shown), that Your Content is lawful and accurate, and that its use through the Service and its publication by guests on WhatsApp does not infringe any third-party right.
You grant the Provider a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, adapt (for example resize or compress) and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, and you authorise guests to share it in their WhatsApp Status as part of your promotion.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to publish or promote content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, violent, pornographic or sexually explicit, deceptive or fraudulent; that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights; that relates to gambling, weapons, drugs or other restricted goods where not lawfully permitted; or that targets minors.
You must not: send spam or unsolicited messages; collect guest data for purposes other than the promotion; resell, sublicense or rent the Service; attempt to access other venues' data; reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe or bypass any security or usage limit of the Service; use bots or automated means; or use the Service in a way that could harm the Provider, other customers, guests or third parties.
We may remove any content and restrict any feature without notice if we reasonably believe this section is breached.
9. Subscription, price and payment
The Service is offered as a subscription, currently €19 per month per venue, unless another price is agreed in writing. Prices may be shown exclusive of applicable taxes, which are payable in addition where required.
Access is activated by a licence key and lasts for the period paid for. Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, the subscription renews automatically for successive periods of the same length until cancelled, and the fee for each renewal period is due in advance.
If payment is late or fails, we may suspend access to the owner desk and to guest pages without liability until payment is received. Fees are non-refundable, including for partially used months, unused features, periods of suspension caused by your breach, or early cancellation, except where a refund is required by mandatory law.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail or in the Service. The new price applies from the next renewal period. If you do not accept the change you may cancel before it takes effect; continued use after that date means acceptance.
Free trials, demo access and test keys may be limited, changed or withdrawn at any time and are provided without any commitment.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time by writing to info@allscreendigital.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no pro-rata refund is given.
After the subscription ends, guest pages stop working and data may be deleted after a reasonable period. It is your responsibility to export anything you need before the end of the subscription.
11. Availability and changes
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free or compatible with every device, browser or app, and we provide no uptime or service level commitment.
We may carry out planned or emergency maintenance, updates and changes at any time, with or without notice. We may change, suspend or discontinue the Service or any part of it; if we discontinue the Service entirely we will give reasonable notice where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties, conditions and terms not expressly stated in these Terms, whether express or implied (including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement), are excluded. You are responsible for keeping your own records and backups.
12. Account security
You are responsible for keeping your password, cashier PINs and devices secure, for all activity under your account and by your staff, and for promptly informing us of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for loss resulting from compromised credentials.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, customers, goodwill, reputation, data or anticipated savings, or for costs of rewards given, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such loss.
The Provider's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the fees actually paid by you for the Service in the one (1) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Provider and its owners, staff and contractors from and against any claims, demands, fines, penalties, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your promotions and rewards; Your Content; your breach of these Terms or of any law; claims by guests, staff, regulators, WhatsApp/Meta or other third parties relating to your use of the Service; and your processing of personal data as controller.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice and without liability or refund, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, use the Service unlawfully or abusively, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if required by law or by a third-party provider.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 2–7, 9, 13, 14, 16, 18 and 19) survive.
16. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, texts, graphics, videos, templates, trademarks and all related intellectual property, belongs to the Provider or its licensors. You receive only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription for your own venue. No other rights are granted.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without obligation to you.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give notice of material changes at least 14 days in advance by e-mail or in the Service, except where changes are required by law or relate to new features, in which case they may apply immediately. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the country in which the Provider is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that place have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Before starting any proceedings, the parties shall try in good faith to settle the dispute by contacting each other in writing for at least 30 days.
19. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and the Provider about the Service and supersede any prior arrangements. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or sale of business. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. In case of any discrepancy between language versions, the English version prevails.
